Today is a big day for Gracie Abrams fans, as the singer/songwriter took to Instagram today (January 9th) to share three very exciting announcements for her biggest supporters.
As for her first special surprise, Abrams revealed that her debut album Good Riddance will be available on all streaming platforms on February 24th. After releasing her EXTREMELY successful EP This Is What It Feels Like in 2021, we’re sure that Abrams is coming back with something even bigger and better!
The 23-year-old shared all the details about the big milestone in an Instagram post with a very heartfelt caption, acknowledging her dear friend Aaron Dessner for helping her put together the album, as well as sharing how the process of creating Good Riddance helped her grow as a person.
The caption ended with, “Thank you all for your support. I’m so nervous. I’m so relieved. I hope with my whole heart that there’s something in here that makes you feel less alone. I’ll be thanking you all for the rest of my life for taking this record and making it yours. FEBRUARY 24TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH”
Fortunately for fans of Gracie Abrams, they will not need to wait until February for more new music. A new single is coming WAY sooner than they may think…
In this same Instagram post, Abrams announced that one of the songs off of the album titled “Where do we go now?” will be coming out THIS Friday (January 13th). This release is sure to give us a glimpse into the overall style of the album, and we are SO excited to hear it.
With new music aside, Gracie Abrams even announced dates for her 2023 tour, The Good Riddance Tour.
She posted a photo on Instagram revealing all 18 stops that she will be taking on The Good Riddance Tour, beginning on March 7th in Chicago, Illinois and ending on April 10th in San Francisco, California. The caption of this post read “THE GOOD RIDDANCE TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have MISSED. YOU. PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” clearly showing her excitement to hit the road once again.
The Good Riddance Tour will take place in addition to Abrams’ dates as an opener for Taylor Swift‘s highly-anticipated Eras Tour. It looks like everyone, including the iconic Taylor Swift, can’t get enough of Gracie Abrams’ live shows.
The tour will be supported by Tiny Habits, a trio out of Boston, Massachusetts that you NEED to stay on the lookout for in 2023! They clearly have a bright future ahead, and we know that The Good Riddance Tour is the start of a VERY successful year for the rising superstars.
